Public Breakfast Buffet, Saturday, April 3. From 7:00 - 11:00 am a hearty breakfast to benefit the Helping Hands for the Homeless of York ministry will be served. The buffet will include a variety of food including Hot Cakes, French Toast, Biscuits, Eggs, Bacon, Home Fries, Chipped Beef with Gravy, Sausage and Gravy, Mixed Fruit, Orange Juice and Coffee. Prices for this all-you-can-eat breakfast are $7.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 6 and older, and free for children age 5 and younger.
Lenten Study 24 Hours That Changed the World is the title of a seven week small group Lenten study to be held Wednesday evenings at 6:00 beginning February 24. The study takes an in depth look at the events of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Meeting in the Church Library, the group will travel with UM Pastor Adam Hamilton to the Holy Land via video to visit the sites where those earth-shaking events took place.
Ham and Turkey Dinner, Saturday, March 13th from 4-7 pm
in Fellowship Hall. The meal will include all sides, rolls, beverages and desserts. The cost for the meal is $10/Adults, $5/children ages 6-12. Children five and under will eat for free. Carry-outs are 50 cents extra. Tickets available at the door and all are welcome. The proceeds of the meal will benefit the COP spring mission trip to Ohio in April. Gathering of Friends will be holding a benefit concert on March 20th at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. Following the concert, there will be light refreshments in Heritage Hall for all to enjoy. This concert is to benefit Olivia's House.
