The mission of our music ministry is to lift God up in worship, to take the Word to the world, and to serve the world in the name of Jesus.
Instrumental/Vocal Soloists
Opportunities are given for instrumentalists and soloists to offer their gift on special occasions and during worship.
Cherub Choir
From September through May, children from 4-7 years old sing with the Cherub Choir one Sunday a month at either of the worship services. Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 6:30-7:15 pm.
Junior Choir
From September through May, children from 8-12 years old sing with the Junior Choir one Sunday a month at either of the worship services. Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Company of Praise Youth Choir (COP)
COP is for youth from 7th grade through college-aged students. This group sings once a month in one of the Sunday morning worship services, in concerts throughout the year, and on a spring mission trip. The vocalists rehearse Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:25.
In addition COP includes a rhythm section of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and wind instruments. Opportunities are also given to work with sound and lighting. Rehearsals are Sundays from 6:00-7:45.
Jubellieres Hand Bell Choir
Performing once a month in one of the Sunday morning worship services, this choir practices Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 pm, from September through May.
Praise Singers
This group of instrumentalists and vocalists provides year-round Sunday worship leadership at the 8:30 am service of Praise and Celebration as well as at worship in other settings. Rehearsals are Mondays from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Chancel Choir
Music reading is a help but not a necessity for this vocal choir that performs a variety of anthems and special music for the 11:00 Sunday worship service. Other singers from the church and the community join the Chancel Choir to present the annual Christmas cantata. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:30-8:45 pm, September through May.
Summer Theatre
The mission of the Summer Theatre is to provide an excellent summer theatre camp experience that provides 1) a door to enter the church and/or faith for youth and families, and 2) to further disciple those who return. For more detailed information click here.
